The Caspian Horse was, until 1965, almost unknown outside the mountainous area of Northern Iran. The American, Louise Firouz, discoverded the Caspian Horse at a bay stallion.
Extensive research into their origin showed them not only to be horses, but possessed of a long and noble history.
